V.SITE UPDATE-15.5.1551-This isn't the big of an update, but I did do a lot. This was more of a "FIX THE BROKEN THINGS" update. Here's what I did:
- I continued to back up EVERYTHING!!
- The past few weeks and since the last update, I have been going through all my page elements HTML codes, JS codes, and the other stuff in between and backing them up on both Google Drive and my external HDD.
- I continued my investigation into the issues my menu has.
- I look into a boat load of problems and found out...there isn't that many problems. I fixed the bloopers when I re-vamped the code in the last update.
- However, there are three main annoyances that I can't seem to fix.
- 1-The Overlapping problem.
- This problem as plagued very video in the menu.
- When I updated the Father's menu section with the AfterShow stuff, I had and issue with the overlapping problem that has bothered me for a while.
- I moved the seasons list into it's own section to make room for the AfterShow's list and it looked fine on the big computer's screen. However...that's not the case on the little laptop. Here's a picture of the problem.
- So I really looked into way my menu was doing that and to find a solution. I tried a bunch of things
- I looked at the .JS code to see if I count find anything.
- I played around and nothing seemed to work.
- So, I looked at the .CSS code. I most worked in there.
- I tried a lot of things.
- Different padding.
- Margins
- I was able to get it centered...sort of.
- And lastly Z-INDEX.
- That let's you control what is above or below something.
- And that didn't work at all.
- And so, I just gave up. It hard doing everything by yourself. And not having proper coding knowledge.
- 2- I want it to auto-adjust.
- Like it goes from one end of the screen to another. And each tab is equal and get smaller or bigger.
- I tried to find a way to do this.
- I was about to get it centered...sort-of. But I couldn't get each tab to do what I wanted.
- 3- The loading.
- But then I realized...there is no way to fix that.
- Those are just a taste of what I have been trying to do. I want to fix these problems. If you know how...HELP ME!!
- Did I mention The Father... I did. Here's more.
- Since it's time for the AfterShow, I had to add new sections for the videos.
- In the menu, like I said, I moved the seasons list into it's section called "THE FATHER".
- Not to be confused he the title of the main section.
- And that cleared up some space to put in the AfterShow's section.
- Then, I added it's own page and to his video page including the season selector.
- And lastly, I revived his section on the update blogs.
- I'll be posting like info and BTS about each episode, like I sort-of did for Season Two.
- I also added new sections in the menu for the AfterShow Update in both his section and the "UPDATE BLOGS" section.
- Then, in a bit of randomness. I updated the Free Rider Tracks site.
- I found out that they have made Free Rider 3.
- It the same as 2, but it's more community focused.
- Each track has a page, I have a profile page, it's cool.
- So, I went through add added my tracks and they still work.
- But I hit a catch. You can only have 5 tracks "under judgement".
- That means un-rated. They need more rating to become judged.
- I got up to Death 2, so go there and see the way I changed the page.
- And then I moved things around.
- I put the links at the top of the page and added FR3.
- And then I changed the track list from and archive list to and actually link list. So you can see them all.
- I did have to top links still in the side bar.
- But when I added the track list...it looked like there were just to many links. So, I moved it.
